Cleanse Yourself of Negativity

Your life creates an impact on this world. Every action you take has a consequence that is helpful, neutral, or harmful to the rest of the world you are a part of. The effects of your actions can influence the world around you on a large or small scale, depending on the amount of power and influence you have in your life and how many other lives are affected by your choices.

Most of us have been raised by older generations who didn’t think too much about the impact they were having on the natural world. All humans, irregardless of race or nationality, have a history that includes war, destruction of the natural environment, and oppression of other people. We carry the burden of the actions taken before us as well as our own; not because we are being punished for the sins of our ancestors but because their actions have created the world we live in. The state of the world today is a direct consequence of actions taken in the past. Pointing fingers may make us feel better in the short term but won’t make any changes to our future: the only change comes from changing our actions in the present.

Please understand that you are a product of your lineage; that is, you are the sum total of all the events you have experienced since birth, and the way you think and view the world is based solely on the role models you have had throughout your life. You are what has been passed down. Your consciousness contains ideas that are out-dated and unhealthy. Your body stores past traumas, unprocessed emotions and ingested toxins in its muscles and fat cells. You are susceptible to the illnesses of the people who came before you. Science and western medicine tell us we have no control over this. Challenge this belief. If you do not purify your mind and body of the toxic thoughts, memories, and substances they contain, you will reap the consequences of those negative mind-states and body-states. You will also pass them on unconsciously to your own children.

Some of us believe in reincarnation—that universal consciousness cycles through birth, life and death repeatedly and that as branches of this consciousness, we are a part of this natural cycle. Whether you believe you have lived many times before or only in this current life, recognize that your past choices are affecting you now. All of us have suffered in this life; we can point to individuals and situations that caused harm to us and resulted in temporary or permanent damage. We may gain some relief by tracing negative patterns in our lives back to their originators, but only for a time. This is a necessary part of the self-examination process that cannot be skipped; it allows us to fully grieve our losses. Eventually, we will reach a place in our grieving where we have received enough empathy for our hurt feelings, and we are ready to move on. This moving on is also a necessary component of healing. Grieve, and grieve fully, and then do not limit your lifetime to sadness. When you are ready, raise your face to the sun and step forward more lightly into joy.

This section provides an overview of tools for both physical and emotional cleansing, from the authors’ own personal experience and research. In our opinion, these are the best methods available today for gaining significant positive results. Please note that the process of cleansing can be disruptive to your regular life, as repressed emotions surface for you to feel and release. Feeling painful emotion is completely safe, and deeply necessary, in order for you to purify yourself so that you can live more lightly and with greater health and peace.

Depending on the severity of your present physical and emotional-mental symptoms, you may wish to undertake cleansing practices on your own, with the support of a spouse or friends, or under the supervision of a qualified holistic health practitioner who is experienced with these practices and can give you the support you need. If you know or suspect you have experienced emotionally traumatic events in your past where you felt extreme states of fear, then take precautions to ensure you are in a safe and supportive environment while you are doing this work. Never stop taking pharmaceutical medicines without the supervision and support of a qualified holistic health practitioner. Take care of yourself. This is a healing process, not a repeat of past trauma. Set a pace you can handle while balancing your purification work with the demands of your job, friends and family. This is not about creating unnecessary crisis in your life. Above all, undertake all healing work within a safe and positive environment with an attitude of self-care and love. Getting in touch with your feelings is liberating. Do you really want to carry all that toxic residue with you? Take the first step to being completely reborn in this life.
